As part of our roadmap towards mainnet launch of the protocol on August 1, 2023, we are announcing the closure of our existing staking program with immediate effect.
The majority of users who were staking in this program took fixed positions (up to 90 days) to earn a bigger share of the rewards, and we have now implemented a global eject feature which will allow you instantly unlock your tokens, claim your rewards and return them to your wallet.
If you visit the Staking page on our legacy dApp, you’ll also notice we’ve removed the STAKE button, so no new staking positions can be opened. However, auto renewals are still active, so you should make sure you eject before your current staking period comes to an end.
We encourage all users to unlock their BUMP tokens from our legacy staking dApp. Here are the steps involved:
1. Visit the legacy staking dApp here.
2. Connect your wallet.
3. Make sure you’re on the Staking tab. Scroll down to your staking position(s) and click EJECT.
4. Confirm the unlock transaction, and make sure you approve in your Web3 wallet too.
5. Once this is done, your rewards will be claimed and your tokens (plus rewards) will be returned to your wallet.
NOTE: If your staking position has already ended, you can just claim your rewards and exit as normal.
But don’t think for a minute we’re leaving you high and dry. You can continue to support Bumper and earn tubular rewards in a couple of other ways.
Be a liquidity provider: by providing DEX liquidity and staking your LP tokens into our Liquidity Mining program, which has been slated to extend beyond the closure of Epoch 13 (May 31, 2023).
Stake in our DAO: Our DAO governance contracts will launch on May 18, 2023, and this will form the basis of our new staking program - Basically, stake your tokens for governance rights, and in doing so, you will earn a share of the daily token emissions - bonus, dude!
Please note that whilst the DAO will launch this week, staking rewards will begin to be emitted from the mainnet launch of the protocol on August 1.
