Our Devs have been involved in preparing our dApp for the alpha release. These last two weeks have been a very busy period, with engineering team setting the necessary limits, performing specific alterations to the dApp’s UI, and actually deploying this version while still focusing on some minor bugs which required fixing in the dApp.
Currently our Devs are working on fixing a few mobile UI issues. These fixes improve the mobile experience of our dApp will definitely benefit users who intend to use our application on mobile devices.
Our Devs did a tremendous job in architecting and deploying our own Bumper private network with all the utility services, including running our own version of Subgraph, block-explorer and various different proxy services in the cloud. We have been able to deploy the services and Geth nodes to a Kubernetes cluster.
We were also fixing bugs in the protocol smart contracts that were caught early on in the alpha testing program.
Our Devs are currently working on building analytics tools for our alpha network in order for us to understand the behaviour of our protocol during our Alpha testing phase.
We have been working on improving the simulation functions, and also fixing bugs that lead to simulation not performing at its best.
We have also been working on identifying some missing pieces in our simulation and adding some more utility functions that would allow us to run better data analytics.
We are halfway through our Alpha testing phase. This phase of testing is a closed release and we only have a set of whitelisted addresses participating in it.
Currently our Makers have opened 39 positions in total with an Earn TVL worth $49,880.10 and our Takers have opened 45 positions with a Protect TVL worth $51,401.25. Note that we have restricted the amount of balances these alpha testers have.
Our alpha testing will be summarised next week (i.e 2 Aug, 2022). Beyond this, our team will focus on bug fixes in the necessary departments, and we will be performing necessary analysis of the protocol state to give an insight into how this beast performs in a live environment.
