Consensus 2022 has been… and gone, and Bumper were one of the official Sponsors of the event, which meant we also got our own booth at the show.
With approximately 17,000 visitors who made it to Austin, TX, from all around the world, we spoke to literally hundreds of people at the Bumper stand, which encouraged everyone to take the day off (worrying about their crypto).
We were represented by CEO Jonathan, Office Manager Lara and our very own Ferris Bueller — ok, an actor. Apparently the real Ferris was having a rest.

We also launched our Crypto Defender game at the show. Branding it like the early 1980’s game by Williams, the purpose of the game was to show off how the Bumper protocol works, as well as giving a first view of the look and feel of the dApp as it will be at launch.
We also decided it was a good idea to make the game available to the wider world too, and you can play Crypto Defender here and potentially win some RAD prizes from our $2000 USDC Prize pool.
Crypto Defender will be available until Thursday 22 June, 2022, and you can find it here. And, a little hint… You can have more than one attempt at getting to the top of the Hall of Fame.
We’d like to extend a very warm welcome to the Bumper family to our new Community Relations Manager, Anastasia, who has joined the team this week.
Anastasia is going to be engaging with and helping to grow the buzz around Bumper as we motor towards launching the protocol.
Obviously she has gone through the usual Bumper hiring process (which involves an in-depth exam on classic 80’s movies villains, and the ultimate test of skill, which is to wipe the floor with everyone else in the team while playing the arcade version of Gauntlet).
